Great to have a local cafe. I really want to like this place more but as previous review says, the place smells of cooking fat and this does cling to your clothes. Just invest in a better extraction system in the kitchen, nit sure there actually is one. Everything else is good, although limited cold drinks selection and we werent allowed the cake displayed as it was out of date. I will keep supporting this business but would go more if the smell was sorted.

Go here most weekends for a breakfast. Lovely food, friendly helpful staff. Wheelchair accessibility: The back entrance isn't wheelchair friendly, but the front entrance is.

We regularly order breakfast or lunch sandwiches to pickup for our office and the food is always top notch and affordable. The chips are always fresh and not from-frozen. They have a bite to them and have that home cooked taste to them. The cold sandwiches are tasty, where some cafes just use lettuce for salad; you get greeted with a spring leafy selection with slices of tomato and cucumber. The breakfast sandwiches are filling, with perfectly cooked runny eggs. Our colleague has a soft spot for the smashed avocado and toast they do; which they use a generous amount of avocado on thick break with two perfectly runny poached eggs.

Used to come quite alot but I think the quality of food has declined over the last couple of times. The cafe smells of old fat ( as did I when I left) and the breakfast that I had recently tasted Of old oil as did the roasts I had when i had the roast dinner last time The hash browns and mushrooms were drenched in oil and tasted the same. Service lovely and quick, staff nice and friendly Coffee fab

Was slightly underwhelmed really. Went because it was close to sculpture park and is dog friendly and saw lots of good reviews. Done get me wrong there was nothing actually wrong with the food it was just a bit plain. Was grateful that they fitted us in as it was really busy. However we were literally first through the door and the floor was filthy, needed a reet good sweep. Don’t think I would rush back

Very popular, advisable to book but will make an effort to seat you if they can. Always a warm welcome and pleasant waiting staff. A small wait for food which is just as it should be when it's cooked to order. The home made soups are so tasty and served piping hot. Always a specials board as well as the regular menu. Outdoor area available when the weather is good.
