Terrrible school! Attitude of staff is shocking! Bullying is kept hush hush. Never any weekly updates about bullying and what they aim to do about it. All concerns are only on attendance and keeping up appearances! Too much homework, too many exams, revision etc. I think this school thinks that pupils do not have social time with friends, or dare take up hobbies ot spend time with family! No wonder there is so much burnout/mental health problems with kids these days. It is shocking!! And don't even get me started on the annoying Arbor app and constant emails!! The amount of emails and messages to catch up on after work daily is overwhelming!

Actually decent with academics, but not nearly enough funding for the arts, and no issues end up resolved. Pastoral (the ones supposed to help with problems with other students), openly said on an assembly to "stop going to them for petty things like friendships. Completely unacceptable behavior to do with mental health help and focus completely on numbers and stats rather than people, including to do with health, urging students to ignore any illness and not implementing a 48 hour policy for sickness, actively apposing nhs guidelines. The bathroom facilities are also awful, including the bins overflowing with pads and blood soaked tampons.

Huge amount of pressure put on year 11 for mocks from all of the teachers, with endless emails about mocks. This has huge effects your child's mental health. She used to love school. It's not even the actual GCSE's, it's just shocking. They are expected to not have any hobbies and just revise.

Whilst there were some good staff, the students were awful and issues with them rarely got resolved

This is a highly fantastic college. If your child wants to learn dropping children off in the morning and picking up access is absolutely brilliant and well organised. I know lots of children that go here and they all seem to be very happy it is in my top three for Huddersfield West Yorkshire for schools and colleges and I’m only a grandparents but I’m very observant the stuff exceptional and polite and put you at ease very professional and the bus service for the surrounding area the 2nd to know I can’t say enough about it thank you
