Fabulous service! Lovely bar area full of nostalgia. We visited for a friends birthday dinner and a very dark, windy and wet night in December 2023 and it was fantastic. Great choice of food and drink.
27.12.23 - Booked in mid-December to return today for lunch and very saddening to hear of a fire. Will donate our table deposit to help with restoration

Another fabulous Sunday Lunch at the 3 Acres! The meals at this restaurant are always tasty & delicious, orders, taken & each course delivered to the table by well mannered courteous staff. Thank you so much to Linda who has always received us with a beautiful smile & friendly helpfulness! Merry Christmas 🎄🌟🎅🏻

A beautiful venue. Oysters lovely, but I fear many main courses are high class microwave dinners, not cooked to order. I would have steak another time to be sure.

We chose the 3 Acres to celebrate our wedding anniversary yesterday, and I must say, this was my third visit to this restaurant, and it never disappoints in terms of both food and service. The manager was welcoming and super friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
Our meal started with the sharing starter, a delightful way to explore a range of flavors and dishes when you want to try them.all. We both opted for the fillet steak as our main course, and it was prepared to perfection. The wait staff did an excellent job, ensuring that our plates were cleared, food was served promptly, and our drinks were refilled at just the right moments. Our anniversary evening was truly enjoyable.

Fabulous family run gastropub with incredible views of the Yorkshire countryside. Warm, homely feel with servers who seem to care that your whole experience of being a guest really is as great as it can be. When the owner brings your meal out, you can see the passion for a great experience.
Food is fresh and has a great combination of flavours and colour, and you always leave feeling full which is important to me! Bored of fancy restaurants where I leave a meal table still hungry.
Visited a few times and it always seems to have a new menu and improvements to the decor. Part of the restaurant to the right of the bar has been reinvigorated recently and looks fabulous but it was so busy we couldn’t sit in there. Next time!!

Had a meal Saturday night for my birthday celebration, the service was poor, had to wait almost 90minutes for main course. Seated near the toilets and pretty much just left with a lack of attention. We did get the drinks knocked off the bill however our plans after here were ruined. I have had previous good experiences here but this has left a sour taste, I don’t think I will be returning anytime soon.

Lovely melt in the mouth fillet steak and the surprise dessert with happy anniversary written in chocolate was a very nice touch! Thank you. We enjoyed the whole meal and will be returning asap.

Upon booking we booked dinner for 7 pm we very quickly got a phone call asking us to come in earlier because they want to shut the kitchen at 7 pm. This seems to be poor communication between the kitchen and the management. Nonetheless, we arrived at 6.30pm and we were very quickly asked what food we wanted to quickly order. The suited gentlemen who took the order wasn’t particularly friendly or excited to see us. This is the only aspect of the visit, I have marked down for and I hope my feedback is taken on board.
The waitress Ruby was very friendly, and the atmosphere and table settings were lovely. They had fantastic cocktail options and great wine selection. Champagne and oysters were also available! Food offerings were good, including Sunday dinner for those who want it.
Ruby really made our visit special, and she was incredibly knowledgeable about the wine, and was a very gracious host. She seemed to genuinely care about us, even down to a genuine goodbye.

Went to The 3 Acres last night and it was fantastic! Amazing food, great service and a varied choice of dishes. We were spoilt for choice. Where we were seated, the main waitress was Zara who we want to specifically mention as she is a credit to 3 Acres! Exceptionally customer focussed, attentive and did not stop once. We will be back again soon to sample the other fantastic dishes on the menu 😀

It's been a while since I visited the three acres, mainly because I have moved out of the area.
My family and I went last Wednesday and I had a delicious mushroom and tarragon soup for starters, followed by duck with a gratin and tenderstem broccoli, finished with a raspberry mille feuille. The service was great - very polite but not stuffy. It was perfect.
